HDPE/PE Pipe Extrusion Line is a complete smooth pipe production system for municipal water supply pipe, gas pipe, irrigation pipe, sewer pipe and general cable protection pipe.
The same production platform can be configured for conventional single-layer pipe or ABA/ABC multilayer co-extrusion. A multilayer line adds a co-extrusion single screw extruder and a multilayer die head while sharing the calibration, cooling, haul-off, cutting and collection equipment.
For cost-sensitive ABA pipe production, recycled PE can be used in the middle structural layer while virgin PE is applied to the inner and outer surfaces. This reduces raw material cost while maintaining a smooth, bright pipe surface and controlled layer distribution.

PE pellets are automatically conveyed to the drying hopper before extrusion, keeping material feeding stable and reducing moisture-related surface defects.
The main single screw extruder uses a high-speed, high-efficiency screw design to improve output, reduce energy consumption and strengthen HDPE/PE plasticizing performance.
For ABA or ABC multilayer pipe, the additional single screw extruder supplies virgin PE to the inner and outer skin layers while the main extruder can process the recycled PE middle layer for lower material cost.
A small co-extruder adds blue, yellow or project-specific marking stripes for water, gas, irrigation, cable duct or telecom pipe identification.
The forged die head uses spiral flow channels for uniform melt distribution. Single-layer and ABA/ABC multilayer structures are configured with different internal flow channel systems.
The vacuum calibration tank is made with 304 stainless steel for long service life, rust-resistant operation, pipe roundness control and accurate outer diameter sizing.
The spray cooling tank uses 304 stainless steel construction and controlled water circulation to provide durable, rust-resistant cooling and stable pipe surface quality.
The online laser printer marks pipe specification, standard, batch information, production date and customer-required identification clearly on the pipe surface.
The haul-off machine synchronizes traction speed with extrusion output to maintain wall thickness and steady pipe movement.
The cutting unit adopts rotary chipless cutting with PLC control, providing smooth pipe end faces, stable tracking and fixed-length cutting before stacking or downstream handling.
The pipe stacker receives fixed-length pipe after cutting and transfers pipe smoothly for manual or semi-automatic collection.
Small-diameter PE pipe, irrigation pipe and cable protection pipe can be collected by customized coiler or winder models selected by pipe diameter and production speed.

Small-diameter PE pipe, irrigation pipe and cable protection pipe are often collected by coiler or winder. Medium and large-diameter HDPE pipe is normally cut to fixed length and transferred by pipe stacker.
The downstream calibration, cooling, haul-off and cutting equipment can be shared. A multilayer line adds one or more co-extrusion single screw extruders and a multilayer die head. ABA production commonly uses recycled PE in the middle layer and virgin PE on both surfaces to reduce material cost.
